Agile Interventions Foundations
Manage an adaptive portfolio of transformational initiatives, introduce business agility and scale a lean enterprise.
About this Certification
A small step for man, a huge leap for mankind
Deep dive into the lifecycle management of a portfolio of change initiatives, championing multiple concurrent interventions so a team of Agile Change Agents can work in parallel without bringing on change fatigue to the participants. Scale the transformation program by introducing roles, activities and artifacts that provide structure, scalability, and repeatability to transformational efforts.

Agile Interventionists are members of a change team in a mature environment, focusing on the management of change through an agile-lean change team. It employs the usage of interventions to enable a group of individuals to control a change program using the principals of lean and agile as the foundation for all activities.

Where the Agile Change Agent workshop focuses on the implementation of transformation, the Agile Intervention Architect workshop focus on the lifecycle management of a portfolio of change initiatives. Change projects are planned, estimated, and prioritized before being passed on to execution by the Agile Change Agent(s), who apply the concepts of feedback-driven co-creation thought on the Agile Change Agent workshop. The certification of this workshop that provides a complete understanding of the team framework for managing change.

Participants will also understand how Agile Interventions can be integrated into scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe and LeSS and how it can bridge the gap between Agile and Prosci/Adkar.

What are agile Interventions?
Agile Interventions is a systematic approach to enterprise transformation that leverages lessons learned from lean-agile environments to support individuals, teams, and organizations in making organizational change. It promotes team-level support while providing reliable scalability, tracking, measurement and reporting of the change program at the enterprise level.

An intervention validates multiple transformational experiments against a single strategical assumption, allowing a coherent management structure to oversee the entire program. It is akin to a sprint, but due to its direct relationship to a strategic intent it is more like a Lean Startup hypothesis validation for mature environments. Change becomes strategically targeted iterations driven by the teams.

You can read more about it in our about section (under “Agile Intervention Management”), or in our conceptual papers under the “library” section.
